You can choose one of the following ways for RTI’s plating facility to process your lacquers or DMM coppers:

One-Step Processing (Resulting Product: Convert)

Two-Step Processing (Resulting Products: Mother, Convert)

Three-Step Processing (Resulting Products: Master/Father, Mother)

Convert: formed and used as the first stamper

Mother: used to manufacture additional stampers

Master (also called a Father): used to manufacture additional mothers

RTI presses 12in (Standard Weight and HQ-180). 7” and 10” plating for export is available.

Note: The State of California requires that metal processing for phonograph record production be charged a 7.25% use tax.

Our general practice for ordering additional stampers is:

Standard Weight Records (140g): 1 set of stampers per 1,000 records

HQ-180 Records (180g): 1 set of stampers per 500 records

At least 1 extra set of stampers will be made on colored vinyl orders to minimize downtime when a stamper change is needed.

Standard Weight: Includes 5 copies. (Additional copies are priced individually. 15 additional copies max.)

HQ-180: Includes 10 copies. (Additional copies are priced individually. 10 additional copies max.)

Default Test Pressing Components:

• RTI logo center labels

• RTI logo rice paper sleeves

• Plain solid white gloss jacket

Please let your rep know if you would like alternative labels (i.e. blank labels) or other components used.

RTI offers 12" pressings in either our Standard Weight (140g) or HQ-180 (180g), on black or colored vinyl.

Standard Weight Pressings Include:

• poly dust sleeve

• master shipping cartons (50 records max. per carton)

HQ-180 Pressings Include:

• poly dust sleeve

• European-Style poly bag or shrink wrap

• master shipping cartons (40 records max. per carton)

Note: All components (test pressing approval, print materials, etc.) must be on hand before your order is scheduled to press.

RTI offers a variety of options for colored vinyl pressings:

Standard Colors (Red / Yellow / Orange / Blue / Green / Clear)

Custom Colors (any mixture of more than one color)

Hi-Melt or Hi-Dispersion (Swirl / Marble / Smoke Effects)

An additional set of stampers is required for all colored vinyl orders.

Additional fees for colored vinyl may apply.

Custom Components:
All custom components must be supplied by the customer. Referrals available upon request.

Stock / Unprinted Components:
Ask your rep about stock jacket availability: unprinted solid white, white with center hole, or black with center hole

Additional Fees:

• inserts, onserts, or sticker application.

• sequential numbering

• sleeve-only orders

Wrap:

• Shrink wrap, loose or tight (included with HQ-180 pressings)

• European-style poly bag (included with HQ-180 pressings)

Finished products will ship via UPS Ground or the carrier of your choice, FOB Camarillo, CA.

All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please establish an account with your preferred shipper before placing your order.

Once the mode of shipping is confirmed (loose* or on a pallet), shipment specifications will be sent to you so that you can arrange shipment for your order**. If shipping via truck line, a Bill of Lading will need to be supplied to RTI.

Exceptions:

Upon approval, shipments can be processed on RTI’s account. The customer will be charged a 10% fee in addition to the published rate for both loose and truck shipments.

Drop Shipments:

Multiple drop shipments are subject to additional charges.

Changes to Shipping Instructions:

Any changes requested after an order is ready for shipment will incur additional fees, and may cause delays to your original ship date.

Note:

*For all loose shipping, RTI requires an outer export carton for added damage protection.

To begin your order, a fifty percent payment of your total estimate is required.

Plus or minus 10% of the quantity ordered will constitute a complete order. The customer will be billed for the actual finished quantity.

Upon completion of your order, all shipping charges and any balance due must be paid before release of your shipment.

RTI accepts multiple payment options, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

RTI is not responsible for inactive parts, merchandise or any other property after 6 months free storage.
